How to create a DHL System User

  1. Please open the DHL business customer portal.
  2. Please click on the arrow next to your name, as shown in the screenshot. Create system user package 1
  3. Now please click on Manage users. Create system user package 2
  4. Now you will see the User overview. Create system user package 3
  5. Now select Create new user.
  6. Here you can define the rights for the user you have stored in the app. 
    1. Please select the user type System User.
    2. Please use the email team.datahub@sevensenders.com Create system user package 4
  7. You can assign these rights under Permissions, as shown in our screenshot. Please activate Verfolgen Paket & Waren

  8. Depending on the browser you are using, there should be a section where you can activate notifications for required password resets (the password of a system user has to be changed every 12 months). Please, activate the notifications.

  9. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the System User has the configuration "All shipment details are visible immerdiately" from the beginning. Changing it at a later point in time, will not work / will not be considered in the DHL Backend
